What Limits You From Being Free? Who Limits Your Freedom?
When you think about it, you may think of a person or people who have given you a hard time and have caused you pain for a long period of time. You may also think of situations that you are faced with that are not pleasant, either at work or in your personal life.
Somehow you are under the impression that the person, or people, or the situations are the ones that are limiting you. We may also hold grudges against others and say “why other people are being mean to me.” or “why do bad situations keep happening to me?”
It is time to realize that it is not them, others, or other situations that make us limited or prevent us from being free.
It is us, ourselves, holding onto that pain or the story and manifesting it in reality now. We are making our own painful situations in the present moment.
We are the only ones who make ourselves struggle and be trapped inside of the cage that we make. We lock our own door, which keeps us inside for a long time and we say, “Freedom!!! I want to be free, but why is my situation continuing to be difficult? Why do people keep making me feel hard?“
The hope is that you can simply walk up to that door, unlock it, and let yourself be free by choosing to let go of the story. I do not mean that all of the sudden you walk away from your family, relationships, work, and situations. I am saying that you let yourself be free from your own cage, from the story you tell yourself which kept you limited.
So this 4th of July weekend; while you are getting together with friends and family, and having a good time together, partying, hiking, and doing some activities with others is so wonderful, I would like to suggest that you take a moment of contemplation to look within, release yourself from your own cage, and be free!
May you be the true expression of who you truly are as you freely fly in the limitless sky!
Happy 4th of July!
